I am a member of FCI, HKS Croatia, KPP Zagreb and KTP Slovenia.

I fell in love with this breed in 1992 when I bought my first Shih Tzu „Bongo“.  In 1994 Bongo, perchance, participated in the CACIB Zagreb show and received CAC and CACIB candidacy.  From then on there was no turning back and this is when I entered the world of cynology.  

The „Pia Bardo“ Shih Tzu kennel has 9 members and almost all of my dogs are multi-champions as well as bearers of many titles and championships including International, Austrian, Croatian, Slovenian, Hungarian, Bosnian & Hercigovnian, Serbian& Montenegran. Other titles include BIS. R.BIS, victories in the IX.FCI category, placement in the BIS, and victories in the BIS breeding and pairs categoriess.  Our cynology collection consists of 54 championships! 

 I am especially proud that my Bongo and Antiopia are the first Shih Tzus in Croatia bearing the flattering title of International Champions.  My „Big Showcase Boss“ Toto was crowned Vice Champion Europe 2007, which is, by far, the best accomplishment for this breed in all of Croatia.

 I began breeding in 1997 when I registered the „Pia Bardo kennel“.  What a challenge!  Since then my kennel has had 12 Champions of which 9 are International Champions, this I am truly proud of. 

All of my dogs live freely in our home.  They are truly my great love, joy... my life!  We function like a great big happy family. 

This is not a job yet a hobby born of love and a place where I have found myself.
